"Captain Vulcan" is the first game I developed on Unity. It is a first person puzzle adventure game set in a sci-fi space setting. Having crash landed onto a foreign planet, the player must navigate their way out of the burning spaceship and locate fuel cells that were scattered on the planet to return home.
The game is completed in about a week worth of time over the course of a seven-week period. This game is created under strict guidelines by our school to test our understanding of basic mechanics in Unity. The game contains basic first person controls, simple puzzles and hazardous environments.
"Tri" is a 2D action adventure platform game. This game is created by a two-man team; I was the game & level designer, programmer and animator in this project. This is completed in about a week worth of time over the course of seven weeks.
In this game, the player plays as a masked hero trying to save the world from the evil Slime King. The player can defeat slime minions by jumping on them or shooting shurikens at them. They have to avoid touching the monsters and other hazardous elements in the game. There are various power-ups the player can pick up where they will receive more shurikens, restore their health and gain additional lives.
"Birdy" is a one-button 2D platform game I developed on Unity. It was created to test the student's level design skills by restricting their game controls to only one button.
